Home industry is one of the only ways for women in the Nieu Bethesda township to bring in a few pennies.
Karoo Moon Wool products employ women from the township of Nieu Bethesda to spin and dye wool and knit jerseys.
Wool is hung out to dry after being spun and washed at Weltevreden a nearby farm. Snowy fields match the wool.
